Celebrating Constitution Week
FACULTY AND STUDENTS
Meal Applications –Meal applications were sent home over the summer.Every student, whether you qualify or not, must turn in a meal application to your first period teacher as soon as possible.Teachers, upon receipt of the application, please turn those in to the Title One Office, room # 115.We need your support so that we can meet the 85% goal for this year.
STUDENTS
Juniors/Sophmores/Freshmen – The PSAT will be given at school during school hours on Wednesday, October 14th.All interested Juniors & Freshmen need to sign up in the College Office.All Sophmores are automatically scheduled to take the exams.
College Visits- Please visit our school website, www.vannuyshs.orgto see what colleges will be sending their representatives to visit us.You will need to sign up to see them in the College Office with Ms. Charlton.
Message Board – A new message board is available for student clubs to post and announce upcoming events.Submit all postings to Mrs. Hamilton for her seal of approval.Items posted without her approval will be taken down and kindly placed in a trashcan.
Student Planners- Students who turned in a meal application will receive a student planner.
FACULTY SECTION
Emergency Lesson Plans – Thank you teachers who have turned in your emergency lesson plans. If you have not turned in your emergency lesson plans, please do so to Susanna Reyes in the Main Office. (Mr. Chong)
Textbook Verification Forms – Are on their way. Due Friday, September 25 at 3pm(Mr. Chong)
Williams legislation – They are on their way. Please turn in completed forms to Mr. Chong in AP Office by Sept. 25 no later than 3pm. We are finalizing all book orders. Call text book room if you need anything.
WASC Self-Study Team- Are you interested in learning about the WASC Accreditation process?Join me as part of VNHS’s WASC Self-Study Team.I am looking for 3 volunteers who will help facilitate this process.See me if you are interested or for clarifications. (Mr. Chong)

ETS 12TH GRADE MEETING-Attention all ETS seniors and any seniors interested in applying for ETS.There will be a meeting on Thursday, September 24th during lunch in the Green Room.This is a mandatory meeting, please arrive on time. (Ms. Palacio, Mrs. Charlton)
