•    Lost and Found- Found woman’s ring still not claimed. Please see Ms. De Santiago in the main office before or after school. Must provide accurate description in detail.

•    Tardy Lockouts- Get to your classes on-time. Students caught in the lockout are subject to tardy consequences. (Mr. Molina)

•    Meal Application Deadline- It’s fast approaching. Get them in NOW to the Title 1 Office and get your planner and be eligible for the upcoming giveaway. (Ms. Saunders)

•    PHBAO Parent Conference- Parent Conferencing is Thursday, November 19, 2009, 3:15-5:15pm. (Ms. Giller)

•    Display Cases- Thank you Ms. Wedeen for the wonderful display in the Main Hallway for The Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos). Reservation book for the display cases will now be in the Career Center, room 119B. It is on a first come basis. There will be a waiting list. (Ms. Giller)

•    After School Tutoring- Do you need extra help in your classes? Do you want to raise your grades? Do you want to graduate on time? Come and get tutored by professionals for FREE. No need to sign up, just show up. (Ms. Saunders)

•    Armenian Club Fundraising- The Armenian Club is selling Armenian Pizza and refreshing drinks every Thursday during lunch at the Victory Stand. (Mr. Hayden)

•    Canned Food Drive- M.E.N.D (Meet Each Need with Dignity) Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive continues through Nov. 20th. (Ms. Vargas/Leadership)

FACULTY SECTION

•    2010 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment- Begins November 1st and ends November 22nd. Benefit plan changes will be effective January 1, 2010. For on-line enrollment and information, go to http://benefits.lausd.net or for Automated Telephone Enrollment System (IVR), (800) 527-1482. (Mr. Chong)

•    Staff Spirit Polo Shirt- We are ordering Spirit Polo Shirts for all staff, no charge. Stop by the main office and give me, Rosa, your shirt size. (Ms. De Santiago)

•    10-minute rule- Thank you for your assistance in dealing our current tardy and truancy problems. Things are improving and we need your assistance in continuing with our success. Please do not send students out for non-emergency reasons the first and last 10-minutes of each period. (Mr. Molina)
