Looking for a classmate

I am looking for a person from the class of 1950. Is there some one whom I can contact who would have information on the whereabouts of classmates? The person I am looking for had a father who was my mother's step father. My mother ended up many pieces of memorbilia from this persons father. My mother is now at a point in her life where she needs to downsize her living space and has always wished she could find the children of this man so she could pass his things on to them. SHe has a letter written to him by one of his children inviting him to her graduation in 1950 from Van Nuys high school. If anyone can help me with information on the whereabouts of classmates from 1950 I would really appreciate it.
