WVOC-West Valley Occ Center
WVOC, West Valley Occupational Center, located on the corner of Victory Blvd. and Winnetka Ave. offers academic and career technology education (CTE) classes for students at least age 16 years old and adults. High school students must bring a completed Concurent Enrollment Form to register. This form is at the bottom on this page. Please bring picture ID (driver’s license, passport). Arrive 10 minutes early to ensure a seat. All tests are multiple choice. Academic Programs CAHSEE Math Test Preparation This course prepares students for the mathematics section of the California High School Exit exam. This 9-week class is held on T/Th from 6:15 PM - 9:30 PM. AEWC Alternative Education and Work Center (AEWC) is an educational alternative for high school age teens who have been out of school 45 days or longer, and who want to earn a high school diploma or equivalency certificate. Contact the Counseling Office for more information. Adult Independent Study Program Put your spare time to work! Earn selected credits towards your High School Diploma while studying at home. Attend class, at least, once each week to get your work. Classes are held T/Th, 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. or Sat 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Learning Center Take high school diploma courses and/or prepare for the GED test in class or at home.
