City Year City Year Los Angeles is an Americorps program and national non-profit organization that unites young people of all backgrounds for a demanding and rewarding year of full-time community service, giving them the skills and opportunities to change the world. As tutors, mentors, and role models, City Year corps members make a difference in the lives of children, and transform schools and neighborhoods in Los Angeles.
City Year's full-time program provides paid community-service based work experience that concludes with an education award of nearly $5,000 that can be applied to student loans and/or future education expenses.
